A wonderful find!

I thought I would share with you my wonderful find!  Always on the lookout for something old, shabby, unique and original I found myself  wandering around the Antiques Barn in Market Harborough, Northampton with a couple of friends and this large (really large!) cream shabby chic enamel jug jumped out at me so I just had to buy it.

Lavender Biscuits

 We have been given this fantastic lavender recipe  from

Wendy who works in our admin department.  Apparently

they are to die for!!

You will need -

125 grams (4 1/2oz) butter or margarine

100 grams (4oz sugar)

1 egg

150 – 200grams (5 – 7oz) self raising flour

1 level tbsp dired English lavender flowers

 (it is essential to use English lavender with no camphor

 scent)

1 small cup (1/4 to 1/3 cup) chopped candied ginger (optional)
