Martin Wiscombe
Martin Wiscombe is well known for his retro style artwork and designs that have been produced on a very wide range of products, including:

He was born in Dorset and studied illustration at Redruth Art College, Cornwall. After 20 years in the advertising and craft industries, Wiscombe decided to return to his first love, painting. Martin Wiscombe’s work is primarily inspired by his lifelong love of the Dorset seaside; the result of childhood summers spent on the beach in Lyme Regis or on his grandfather’s fishing boat. Painting mainly wood, reminiscent of the driftwood found on beaches, Wiscombe’s pieces have a natural, innocent feel reflecting his admiration for basic and primitive art. In 1989, Wiscombe moved from the city into a farmhouse in the countryside. He still enjoys the pleasures of rural life, living with his two children and horses in Wiltshire.
