Fair Trade Aster Carved Wooden Mirror
This beautifully ornate mirror has been delicately hand carved by skilled artisans and then distressed in white. The detail on each frame is awe inspiring. Size: 84cm height x 62cm width x 5cm depth The mango wood we use is sustainable. Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit but once the trees reach a certain size and age, they stop bearing fruit. It is then that the trees can be cut down and used to create wood products. The removal of the old trees makes space for farmers to plant new mango trees. This not only means that none of the wood is wasted but offers a supplementary income to mango wood farmers. Mango wood is a hard wood that comes in many shades from light to dark. Our products are certified through the The World Fair Trade Organisation.
